Officially unveiled at Palazzo Margherita\, the new special stamp features the L’Aquila 2026 logo and joins the ranks of national symbols dedicated to Italy’s great cultural and spiritual traditions. The initiative\, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy\, Poste Italiane\, and the State Printing Office and Mint\, serves as an extraordinary vehicle for promoting the city’s identity\, history\, and journey of rebirth throughout Italy and abroad.   \nAlong with the regular issue\, Poste Italiane has prepared special limited-edition folders and exclusive products for enthusiasts and collectors. The stamp thus transforms the journey toward L’Aquila 2026 into a tool for collective memory and lasting promotion\, leaving a tangible trace of this historic year. The products are immediately available at post offices nationwide and\, locally\, at the philatelic counter of the L’Aquila post office.

DESCRIPTION:Lecture by Alberta Martellone (archaeologist – SABAP L’Aquila and Teramo)\nOrganized by Archeoclub L’Aquila\n\nThe Archeoclub L’Aquila is collaborating with the “Dimore Culturali” project on a series of lectures dedicated to the history of the city of L’Aquila\, held in the city’s historic buildings during special open house events.\nThe first lecture will focus on the L’Aquila region in ancient times\, prior to the 1st century C.E.\, in light of the latest archaeological discoveries in the area—which was historically divided between the Sabines to the north and the Vestini to the south. It will be presented by Alberta Martellone\, an archaeologist with the Superintendence of Archaeology\, Fine Arts\, and Landscape for the provinces of L’Aquila and Teramo.
