DESCRIPTION:As part of the 34th edition of the Paolo Borsellino Prize\, a conference dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Foibe will be held in the Conference Hall of Palazzo Margherita\, titled “The Torn Memory: From the Foibe to the Exodus\,” with the aim of promoting historical and civic reflection on a pivotal chapter in Italian history. \nSpeakers will include Pierluigi Biondi\, mayor of L’Aquila; Giorgio La Porta\, journalist and consultant to the European Parliament; Francesco Fagnani\, vice president of the De Historia Cultural Association; Fabio Pace\, president of the Abruzzo February 10 Committee; and Paola Peluso\, journalist. \nThis initiative is part of an effort to promote the memory and values of the rule of law and civil justice.

DESCRIPTION:Lecture by Alberta Martellone (archaeologist – SABAP L’Aquila and Teramo)\nOrganized by Archeoclub L’Aquila\n\nThe Archeoclub L’Aquila is collaborating with the “Dimore Culturali” project on a series of lectures dedicated to the history of the city of L’Aquila\, held in the city’s historic buildings during special open house events.\nThe first lecture will focus on the L’Aquila region in ancient times\, prior to the 1st century C.E.\, in light of the latest archaeological discoveries in the area—which was historically divided between the Sabines to the north and the Vestini to the south. It will be presented by Alberta Martellone\, an archaeologist with the Superintendence of Archaeology\, Fine Arts\, and Landscape for the provinces of L’Aquila and Teramo.
