DESCRIPTION:Edited by Mario Centofanti\, Raffaele Giannantonio\, and Andrea Mantovano \nAn exhibition that goes beyond the walls of Palazzo Ardinghelli to tell a story of architecture\, cities\, and transformation. \nHoused in the newly restored spaces of Palazzo ONMI—a former daycare center on Viale Duca degli Abruzzi and a testamentto 1930s public architecture—the exhibition begins with that very decade and unfolds a continuous narrative of the urban landscape of Abruzzo. \nThe exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the transformations of cities\, tracing the key stages in the processes of growth and redefinition of urban space. SUMMARY:The Visitation in L'Aquila: Raphael and Pontormo
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition\, curated by Professor Tom Henry and Dr. Federica Zalabra\, focuses on the return of Raphael’s *Visitation* to L’Aquila after more than four centuries\, and represents a unique opportunity to explore and share with the community the historical\, artistic\, and symbolic complexity of the work and the relationship between the prominent patron from L’Aquila and the great master of the Italian Renaissance.\nThe exhibition\, which is accessible and inclusive\, will feature paintings—including Pontormo’s *Visitation* from Carmignano—drawings\, prints\, architectural models\, and documents in an unprecedented combination\, and will be accompanied by an illustrated catalog written and edited by the curators\, with contributions from other leading scholars in the field.
