These changes will affect the <strong>Parco del Castello and<\/strong> <strong>Piazza Battaglione Alpini (Fontana Luminosa)<\/strong>, where the drone show will take place. Additional events are planned in Piazza Duomo and, in the evening, will feature performances by street artists and roaming musicians.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Parking space reserved for people with disabilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Please be advised that <strong>the municipal parking lot on Via Pio Iorio (Porta Castello)<\/strong> will <strong>be reserved exclusively for vehicles serving people with disabilities<\/strong> for the entire duration of the event on January 17.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Traffic Changes \u2013 Phases and Schedules<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>From 8:00<\/strong> <strong>p<\/strong> <strong>.m. on January 15 to 5:00 a.m. on January 16<\/strong>, and <strong>from 8:00 p.m. on January 16 to 5:00 a.m. on January 17<\/strong>, the following will be in effect:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No-traffic<\/strong> and <strong>no-parking zones (with towing<\/strong> ) on <strong>Via Tagliacozzo<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>No vehicle traffic<\/strong> and <strong>no parking (with towing<\/strong> ) on <strong>Via Pio Iorio<\/strong>, on the section between the entrance to the municipal parking lot and <strong>Piazzale Ulrichs<\/strong>, including the square itself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, January 17, from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No-traffic<\/strong> and <strong>no-parking zones (with towing<\/strong> ) on <strong>Via Pio Iorio<\/strong> (between the parking lot and Piazzale Ulrichs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday, January 17, from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Complete closure to traffic and no parking<\/strong> on <strong>Via Tagliacozzo<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Complete closure and no-parking zone<\/strong> on <strong>Via Pio Iorio<\/strong> (between the parking lot and Piazzale Ulrichs);<\/li>\n<li><strong>the municipal parking lot on Via Pio Iorio, reserved entirely for people with disabilities<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>No traffic or parking (except for authorized vehicles)<\/strong> on <strong>Via Castello<\/strong> and <strong>Via Malta<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>No traffic or parking<\/strong> in <strong>Piazza Battaglione Alpini<\/strong>; <strong>the bus stop has been moved<\/strong> to <strong>Viale Gran Sasso<\/strong>, on the right-hand side heading toward <strong>Fontana Luminosa<\/strong>, on the stretch between the crosswalk and the square;<\/li>\n<li><strong>One-way traffic<\/strong> on <strong>Via Pescara<\/strong>, on the section between <strong>Via Zara<\/strong> and <strong>Via Strinella<\/strong>, heading toward <strong>Via Strinella<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>On <strong>Via Zara<\/strong>, at the intersection with Via Pescara, vehicles coming from <strong>San Bernardino<\/strong> <strong>must turn right<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Permitted Access<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Between 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., access:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the <strong>San Bernardino<\/strong> and <strong>Santa Maria di Farfa<\/strong> area;<\/li>\n<li>at <strong>the parking lot for people with disabilities on Via Pio Iorio<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This will <strong>only<\/strong> be possible by following this route: <strong>Via Fortebraccio \u2013 Via San Bernardino \u2013 Via Panfilo Tedeschi \u2013 Via Zara<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, January 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No traffic or parking<\/strong> on <strong>Corso Principe Umberto I<\/strong> and <strong>Via Bafile<\/strong> (the section between Corso P. Umberto I and Via Camponeschi), on the right-hand side heading toward <strong>San Bernardino<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Via delle Aquile<\/strong>: Access is restricted <strong>to residents and authorized vehicles only<\/strong>; in addition, <strong>parking is prohibited<\/strong> (except for authorized vehicles) in two parking spaces from <strong>8:00 a.m. to 10:00<\/strong> p.m.;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Via Bafile<\/strong> (between Via Camponeschi and Via Roma): <strong>one-way traffic<\/strong> toward <strong>Via Duca degli Abruzzi<\/strong> and <strong>no parking<\/strong> on the left side;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Via Roma<\/strong> (between Via Bafile and Via Duca degli Abruzzi): <strong>one-way traffic<\/strong> toward <strong>Via Duca degli Abruzzi<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Temporary Closures During Performances<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>During the two drone shows\u2014each lasting about 15 minutes\u2014scheduled for <strong>5:30<\/strong> p.m. and <strong>9:15<\/strong> p.m., there will be a <strong>temporary ban on vehicle traffic<\/strong> in:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gran Sasso Avenue<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Via Nizza<\/strong>, at the intersection with <strong>Via Duca degli Abruzzi<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>PARKING AND SHUTTLE SERVICE<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To facilitate the arrival of participants, the City of L&#8217;Aquila has set up a free shuttle bus service and, at the same time, designated specific parking areas\u2014which are also free\u2014located in various parts of the city.<\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking  <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cLorenzo Natali\u201d Bus Terminal Megaparking Lot: The free megaparking lot has a total of 640 parking spaces located on levels -2 and -3 of the facility, where dedicated staff will be on hand to manage access.<\/li>\n<li>Municipal Parking Lot: At the municipal parking lot, located on Via Rocco Carabba, 400 parking spaces will be available in an area marked off by a designated entrance staffed by dedicated personnel.<\/li>\n<li>Via Filomusi Guelfi-Villa Gioia (near the courthouse): 200 parking spaces are available.<\/li>\n<li>Please also note that there are 88 parking spaces available at the Porta Leoni parking lot (paid) and approximately 40 on Largo Pischedda (parking disc required).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In total, there are 1,368 parking spaces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shuttle Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The shuttles will be identifiable by their graphics and colors, which will vary depending on the route.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue Shuttle: Route from Autoparco to Villa Gioia to Villa Comunale to Collemaggio Terminal from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; runs every 20 minutes. Recommended stop: Villa Comunale. <\/li>\n<li>Red Shuttle: Terminal\/Fontana Luminosa from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; runs every 20 minutes (until 2:00 p.m., it travels along Via San Bernardino).
