Barattelli\u201d Concert Society of L\u2019Aquila, promoted in conjunction with L\u2019Aquila\u2019s designation as the 2026 Italian Capital of Culture, a high-profile event dedicated to<strong>the evolution of opera direction<\/strong> will be held. The event\u2019s featured speaker is <em>Cesare Scarton<\/em>, a director, professor, and vocal expert, who will analyze how <strong>opera direction<\/strong> has evolved since the 1950s.<br \/>\nThrough an analysis of various productions of Giuseppe Verdi\u2019s <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"48\">*La traviata*<\/i> \u2014from the most traditional to the most experimental\u2014Scarton will illustrate how opera serves as a mirror of society and a witness to the changes of our time.<br \/>\nThe event, in keeping with the spirit of \u201cL\u2019Aquila: City of the Multiverse,\u201d bridges the gap between theoretical reflection and new creativity: during the event, the world premiere <i>of \u201cTo Descent\u201d<\/i> for violin, cello, and piano\u2014a new composition by the young talent <em>Gabriele Pingue<\/em>\u2014will be performed by the METIS Trio.
