The training program for the “Cultural Ambassadors for L’Aquila 2026,” sponsored by the City of L’Aquila as part of the “L’Aquila: A Welcoming City” initiative, continues in preparation for the city’s year as the Italian Capital of Culture.

Three new training sessions are scheduled for February, which will take place according to the following schedule:
* Monday, February 9, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.;
* Wednesday, February 11, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.;
* Tuesday, February 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The February events will be longer than those held in previous months, allowing for a more in-depth exploration of topics related to hospitality, cultural heritage, and the creation of a shared narrative of the city. The program also includes group workshops designed to encourage discussion, active participation, and the sharing of best practices.

The new series of meetings follows the positive response received between December and January, a period during which a total of nine training sessions were held, attended by approximately 270 people, including merchants, business operators, sports and cultural associations, and citizens who interact with the public on a daily basis.

The project, launched at the initiative of the Supervisory Committee for L’Aquila 2026, continues to pursue the goal of enhancing the quality of hospitality, raising cultural awareness, and promoting the city’s historical, artistic, and cultural heritage, making each participant a key figure for L’Aquila as it moves toward 2026.

At the end of the training program, participants will receive a certificate of course completion issued by the organization that sponsors the training courses.
