Dialogues Between Sounds, Words, and New Cultural Frontiers
Italian director Marco Bellocchio and composer Carlo Crivelli are the featured guests at the event scheduled as part of “Musica Per-Formare. Dialogues Between Sounds, Words, and New Cultural Frontiers,” a project by the Società Aquilana dei Concerti for L’Aquila, Italian Capital of Culture 2026. The young pianist Pasquale Evangelista, a graduate of the “A. Casella” Conservatory of Music in L’Aquila, will perform works by Carlo Crivelli, specifically pieces from the soundtracks of Bellocchio’s famous films. For the occasion, “Due passi con Bellocchio” will be premiered—a work dedicated to Barattelli’s 80th birthday.
