A tribute to women—engaged and full of joy—who adore both the virtues and the flaws of the other half of the sky. A warm and down-to-earth ode, woven from a mosaic of scenes inspired by Goldoni, chosen for their modernity and, indeed, their “contemporaneity.” It is no coincidence that these scenes are linked by a beautiful series of pop songs from today’s collective imagination, performed live. And in this divertissement—which combines wit and lighthearted grace—there is another departure from traditional Goldoni productions: all the characters wear masks, in contrast to the key idea of the author’s later work, in which he would have preferred to eliminate all masks… But thanks to these masks, three excellent actresses portray no fewer than sixteen different characters!
