Ever since he was a child, Orfeo has imagined stories centered around an abandoned villa across from his home. A solitary and visionary pianist, one evening at the Polypus—the club where he plays—his gaze meets Eura’s. A profound love blossoms between them, but she is hiding a secret. Then she disappears. One evening, Orfeo sees her enter a small doorway on Via Saterna, in front of the villa, and follows her. Once he crosses the threshold, he finds himself in a visionary afterlife, inhabited by creatures such as the Melusines, the Wizard of the Woods, and processions of skeletons…
