Palazzo Cipolloni-Cannella is one of the city’s largest noble palaces. Over the centuries, it has changed owners and functions, bearing witness—through the harmonious interplay of its diverse architectural styles—to the history and transformations of L’Aquila through earthquakes and restorations. Today, among its various uses, the second noble floor houses the Gliubich Auction House in its frescoed salons—a prominent institution in L’Aquila’s cultural sector: The tour will be led by Gianluca Gliubich himself, who will discuss the works of art on display and the workings of an auction house.
