Cultural Sites: Open Palaces – Oratory of St. Anthony of the Knights of Nardis

Built by the Nardis family around a miraculous image, the Oratory is one of the Baroque treasures of the city of L’Aquila, a treasure trove of art and faith that houses some of the most important works of art and craftsmanship from Abruzzo dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, including the wooden ceiling, the famous ceramic altar frontal from Castelli, and the monumental pipe organ.
