As part of the program for L’Aquila 2026, Italian Capital of Culture, the event “99 Songs” —curated by Massimo Felici in collaboration with Claudio Mastracci and organizedby the Euterpe Music Association —will host Atomic Rooster in L’Aquila for their only Italian date on the tour.

One of the most original British rock bands of the early 1970s, Atomic Rooster was formed in 1969 by keyboardist Vincent Crane and drummer Carl Palmer, distinguishing itself with an unmistakable style that blended hard rock, progressive rock, blues, and jazz with the powerful sound of the Hammond organ. Albums such as *Death Walks Behind You* and singles like “Tomorrow Night” and “Devil’s Answer” cemented their place on the international scene. Now a cult band in European progressive rock, they’re returning to the stage led by singer Pete French and guitarist Steve Bolton —formerly of The Who and Paul Young—to bring to life the power and charm of a band that wrote pivotal chapters in rock history.
