As part of the program for L’Aquila 2026, Italian Capital of Culture, the event “99 Songs” —organizedby the Euterpe Music Association —presents “Canciones,” a journey through 20th-century Spanish music via the works of Ravel, Granados, Halffter, and de Falla—composers who transformed folk melodies, dances, and Iberian traditions into a refined artistic language.

The original lineup of the Steel Trio — Stela Dicusara (vocals), Agatha Bocedi, and Alice Caradente (harps)—highlights the poetic dimension of this repertoire through a dialogue rich in color and evocative imagery, in which song and harmonies conjure up Spanish landscapes, memory, and cultural identity. A musical journey that celebrates song as a universal form of expression and beauty.
