The project—which cannot be separated from the promotion of the city’s incredibly rich private heritage, viewed not as a one-off initiative but as part of a comprehensive vision—aims to create a physical and programmatic “platform” for the enjoyment, understanding, promotion, and the ideal revitalization of L’Aquila’s historic palaces through special open houses and related events.…
The project aims to organize a series of conferences focusing specifically on the founding cities of the Apennine region of central Italy (including L’Aquila, Leonessa, Cittaducale, and Cittareale), with in-depth analyses of the historical, legal, economic, and commercial contexts within which these cities were founded. A concluding workshop will focus on contemporary urban planning issues.…

Abruzzimaginarium, the new multimedia museum for children dedicated to the creative exploration of Abruzzo, is opening to the public. During the grand opening gala, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the “Journey Through the Abruzzimaginarium Multimedia Museum for Children” tour, which is available by reservation.
