Pianist Jan Lisiecki in *World (of) Dance*—the 80th season of the “Bonaventura Barattelli” Aquila Concert Society
The concert’s headliner is Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki, considered one of the best of his generation, who performs on the world’s greatest stages. He was offered an exclusive recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon at the age of 15 and has won prestigious awards. In 2012, Jan Lisiecki was appointed UNICEF Ambassador in Canada. The “World (of) Dance” program is part of his 2026 tour, in which Lisiecki explores a century of dance music, from Chopin and Schubert to Brahms and Bartók, from Ginastera to Piazzolla, and many others.
