Creative Connections: Italy-China ItARTS International Cultural Hub
From March 26 to April 1, 2026, L’Aquila will become the hub of a prestigious international artistic exchange through the “Creative Connections” initiative . The project, part of the broader ItARTS-PNRR program managed by the “A. Casella” Conservatory of Music, was created to foster creative dialogue and educational collaboration between leading Italian and Chinese academic institutions.
The event is officially part of L’Aquila’s bid to become the 2026 Italian Capital of Culture through the “L’Aquilarthe” project and is sponsored by the City of L’Aquila.
The activities will take place at venues that symbolize artistic education in L’Aquila: the “Alfredo Casella” Conservatory of Music,the Academy of Fine Arts, and the Pile Multipurpose Center. The initiative involves collaboration with leading partners such as Saint Louis College of Music, the PolytechnicUniversity of Turin, andthe University of L’Aquila.
