Cycling for Culture in San Sisto – CostellAzioni Project
As part of CostellAzioni – Festival of L’Aquila’s Identity, the program for L’Aquila 2026, Italian Capital of Culture, brings to San Sisto a day dedicated to experiencing the local area in motion, exploring nature, the landscape, and sporting heritage.
The E-bike Tour on Mountain Trails is a guided cycling tour through the L’Aquila region, departing from Piazza Italia, designed to offer a firsthand experience of the local culture. Featuring a special appearance by Gianbattista Baronchelli, a distinguished guest who will kick off the e-bike tour.
In Piazza Italia, the exhibition “Bici dei campioni ” celebrates the bicycles that have shaped the history of Italian cycling, offering a glimpse into the country’s sporting and cultural heritage.
A day to explore the L’Aquila region from a different perspective, where culture meets the landscape, physical activity, and sporting traditions.
