As part of the program for L’Aquila 2026, Italian Capital of Culture, the MuBAq – L’Aquila Children’s Museum presents *The Little Garden of the Muses – Mosaic Art for Shared Regeneration*, an exhibition of mosaic works by artists from the Ravenna area, curated by art critic Antonio Gasbarrini.

The project began as an *opus musivum* —a work of the Muses—with the aim of fostering the civic regeneration of an urban green space through the beauty of mosaic art. The mosaic works—a millennia-old art form rooted in the great Italian decorative tradition—interact with the surrounding natural environment, transforming an urban green space into a place for contemplation and shared cultural engagement. The exhibition is part of the “L’Aquila 2026” vision, which places the regeneration of public spaces and community participation at the heart of its cultural program, restoring vibrant and beautiful places to the city. The opening will take place on August 10 at 6:00 p.m.; the exhibition will be open to the public through September 5.
