The lobby of the Information Center at San Salvatore Hospital in L’Aquila is transformed into a unique stage for the closing event of Recovery Sound Art. This project by the Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, an integral part of the program for L’Aquila, Italian Capital of Culture 2026, brings the great tradition of Abruzzo’s composers to patients, staff, and visitors. Artists Emilia Di Pasquale (piano) and Manuela Formichella (soprano) will take the audience on a historical and poetic journey through the 19th and 20th centuries. By performing works by composers such as Tosti and Marcacci, the event highlights the ISA’s commitment to transforming healthcare settings into spaces for cultural and human renewal.
