The final event of the successful Recovery Sound Art project will take place at the Villa Volpe Nursing Home in Ofena. Organized by the Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese in collaboration with the “A. Casella” Conservatory, the series concludes a series of eighteen events held as part of L’Aquila’s designation as the 2026 Italian Capital of Culture. Pianist Emilia Di Pasquale and soprano Manuela Formichella will present a selection of pieces by Zimarino, Di Jorio, and Respighi, many of which were inspired by the poetry of Gabriele D’Annunzio. This concluding tribute blends folk roots with contemporary sensibilities, bringing “great music” even to the most remote corners of the region to convey a message of lasting cultural inclusion.
