Setak in Concert in Bagno – CostellAzioni Project
As part of the program for L’Aquila 2026, Italian Capital of Culture, CostellAzioni – Festival of L’Aquila’s Identity brings Setak’s music to one of the most evocative and iconic sites in the L’Aquila region: the area around Lake San Raniero andthe archaeological site of ancient Forcona, where some of L’Aquila’s earliest historical roots lie.
At sunset, the landscape, archaeology, music, and light come together in a unique and unforgettable experience. The star of the evening is Setak, a singer-songwriter from Abruzzo who is among the most authentic and original voices on the contemporary Italian music scene and winner of the 2024 Targa Tenco Award for Best Album in Dialect. His repertoire draws deeply on the musical and linguistic roots of Abruzzo, reinterpreting them in a new form that speaks to a wide audience without betraying the deep-rooted identity from which it springs.
The concert is part of the CostellAzioni initiative, which brings the L’Aquila 2026 program to the region’s founding sites, transforming every village and every landscape into a stage for vibrant, participatory culture.
