The Aquilani Soloists & Danusha Waskiewicz and Daniele Orlando
A dialogue among exceptional string musicians for the 2026 Capital of Culture: I Solisti Aquilani join forces with renowned violist Danusha Waskiewicz, former principal violist of the Berliner Philharmoniker, and concertmaster Daniele Orlando. The concert celebrates the legacy of Claudio Abbado through Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante K 364, a masterpiece of balance and lyricism.
The program then explores the sounds of the 20th century with Hindemith’s solemn *Trauermusik* and the energy of Bartók’s *Folksongs*, enriched by Paolo Marzocchi ’s arrangements for*Albanian Song*. An event of international prestige featuring two world-renowned soloists and the finest chamber music ensemble from L’Aquila.
