On April 9, an exclusive meeting with the artist and the MAXXI curators to discover the behind-the-scenes story of the grand parade that will wind through the 2026 Italian Capital of Culture.

Following the enthusiastic response to the call issued last February, Marinella Senatore ’s journey into the heart of L’Aquila marks a new, important milestone. On Thursday , April 9, at 6:30 p.m., the artist will meet with the public for a conversation dedicated to *The School of Narrative Dance*, the international, participatory art project that will feature our city as the protagonist during the Year of Culture.

Art as a Collective and Inclusive Ritual

At the heart of Marinella Senatore’s artistic vision lies the idea of art as a catalyst for community. The School of Narrative Dance is not just a performance, but an experience that brings together diverse groups and individuals to create, through movement, music, and voice, a grand urban parade conceived as a collective ritual.
