As part of CostellAzioni – Festival of L’Aquila’s Identity, the program for L’Aquila 2026, Italian Capital of Culture, brings an evening of live music to Coppito featuring the Generale Street Band, one of Italy’s most beloved Vasco Rossi tribute bands, with Francesco Cassano, Vincenzo Rutigliano, Mimmo Nobile, Leonardo Cristallo, Checco Sacchetti, Leonardo Conca, Karen Uribazo, and Sergio Fanelli, also known as “the General.”

The concert brings all the energy, songs, and soul of an artist who has left his mark on decades of Italian musical history right into the heart of the village, transforming Murata Gigotti Park into the most rock-and-roll stage in the L’Aquila area. An evening to sing, be moved, and come together, in the belief that music and culture are tools for social cohesion and collective identity.
