As part of the program for L’Aquila 2026, Italian Capital of Culture, the event “99 Songs” —organizedby the Euterpe Music Association —presents ACCULAE – Il Rito delle Fonti, a performance by the artistic collective The 10th Sense in one of L’Aquila’s most iconic and defining locations.

*The Master of Water* emerges from the fusion of the ephemeral artist’s narrative and the city’s deepest soul: the ninety-nine stone masks, silent witnesses to the ninety-nine founding castles of L’Aquila, become the focal point of a reflection on time and collective memory. Water is not merely a scenic element, but a comprehensive map and a negation of the past: it flows, is consumed, regenerates, and refuses to be confined. A sensory and ritual experience that transforms the monument into a living theater, where the city itself becomes the story.
