MU.SP.A.C. (Experimental Museum of Contemporary Art), in close collaboration withthe Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila, presents “DEEP DOWN – Throw Your Soul into Every Open Door.” The exhibition, part of the “COSTRUIRE CULTURA. 41 Years of Art in L’Aquila” project for L’Aquila, Italian Capital of Culture 2026, originated as the final project of students from the School of Art Education and Communication, offering a fresh and profound perspective on the contemporary art scene.

Drawing inspiration from the emotional resonance of contemporary music, the exhibition takes the form of a collective exploration of the private sphere and identity. Through painting, sculpture, and multimedia, nine emerging artists bring to light memories, family ties, and wounds, transforming personal experience into a universal narrative. The exhibition unfolds along four fundamental themes— Identity, Memory, Body, and Profound Dimension —presenting the inner gaze as a necessary act of resistance in a fragmented present. Supported by the City of L’Aquila and the Carispaq Foundation, the exhibition invites the public to courageously navigate the invisible spaces of human existence.
